Travelling doesn't change what football is shown — it changes which country's TV rights apply to you.
Rights belong to a territory, not a person
A broadcaster doesn't buy the right to show you football wherever you go — it buys the right to show football in a specific country. Land somewhere else, and you're under that country's rights deal, not the one you're used to at home.
That's true whether you're on holiday for a week or living abroad long-term. Your usual channel or streaming app may simply not hold the rights in the country you're now in — even for the exact same match.
Check the country you're actually in
The most reliable way to watch football abroad is to check what's available where you are, not to try to recreate what you'd get at home.
Browse football on TV by country to see the channels and streaming services covering matches in your current location, or go straight to a specific competition to see its coverage territory by territory.
A note on VPNs
Some travellers use a VPN to keep their home streaming login working while away. Whether that's within a service's own terms is between you and that service — Watch the Match doesn't verify or guarantee it works, and a VPN can't create broadcast rights that don't exist for a given match or territory in the first place.
